A man was transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital and then by Life Flight to a Toledo hospital after he struck the side of a truck while riding his bicycle Wednesday afternoon at Meadowbrook Park, 5430 W. SR 18.
Sgt. Kevin Reinbolt of the Seneca County Sheriff's Office said the man suffered a badly broken leg as a result of the collision, requiring him to be transported to a Toledo hospital.
According to reports from the sheriff's office, Bascom firefighters and EMS responded to the accident, which was reported at 12:55 p.m.
