September 12, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

WASHINGTON, D.C. - U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, announced Tuesday the Seneca County Board of Commissioners has been awarded a $229,364 Federal Aviation Administration grant to help rehabilitate the apron and runway at the Seneca County Airport.

"Seneca County Airport provides important travel services to area small businesses, recreational pilots, and visitors," Brown said. "This funding will improve the safety and efficiency of the airport so it can remain a reliable option for the county."
