Nate VanVeldhuizen of V&V Concrete Pumping drove 850 miles to pick up his new 40-meter Concord Concrete Pump. VanVeldhuizen chose the eagle and the U.S. Marine Corps motifs in honor of the time served in the military by him and fellow servicemen.
Irving Equipment owners Joe Irving Sr. and his wife, Kaye, say they are seeing the local company grow and expand despite the extended downturn within the industry in recent years.
Irving Equipment, a family-operated concrete pumping equipment business, has begun moving more aggressively on a strategy to reach new markets with the addition of several product lines, according to the Irvings.

operator of the concrete pumping truck. VanVeldhnizen drove the vehicle home last week to Rock Valley, Iowa.
In the past year, the company has increased its product lines to include a full range of CIFA concrete equipment, as well as offering its customers the full line of PM brand truck-mounted articulating cranes. This has allowed for additional employment opportunities at Irving Equipment.
"A broad product line does not guarantee an increase in business," Joe Irving stated. "Keeping customer service as a priority is the key to longevity."
After selling a local crane business, the family got involved in the sales of concrete pumping equipment.
Irving has experience selling and servicing Concord Concrete Pumps and again is involved with the sales of cranes. The company also provides parts and service for the pumps and cranes. CIFA and Concord serve a global market, with Irving Equipment their exclusive U.S. distributor.
Online at irvingequipment.net, the company is located at 1515 S. CR 1, Tiffin.
