FINDLAY - It took four closely contested games, but Upper Sandusky got the upper hand on Liberty-Benton, leaving Findlay with a victory, 29-27, 25-21, 21-25, 25-20.
"This match was a big test for us, and we passed with flying colors," Ram coach Matthew McConnaughey said. "I'm proud of my team they were able to beat a quality opponent like Benton."
Sophomore libero Jenna Holly broke her own record with 33 digs in the match.
Offensively, Taylor Graboski slammed 20 kills. Jessi Holly adeed 11 and Kalene Johnson had 10. Allison Snyder delivered 48 assists for the Rams (4-1).
