Columbian schedules open house
Tiffin Columbian High School is hosting an open house from 6:30-8 p.m. Monday. Parents and community members are invited.
The schedule:
6:30-6:45 p.m. - Parents meet in the auditorium.
6:45-7:00 p.m. - grade level information meetings.
- Senior parent meeting in
auditorium.
- Junior parent meeting in cafeteria.
- Sophomore parent meeting in gym.
- Freshman parent meeting second floor in room 201.
7-8 p.m. - Parents will be dismissed to tour the building and visit TC staff.
NCA meeting cancelled
The North Central Academy-Fremont Board has cancelled its Tuesday board meeting. The next board meeting is Oct. 23.
Peace Corps head to visit Tiffin University
Kevin F.F. Quigley, who heads the National Peace Corps Association, is to visit Tiffin University this week.
Quigley is to offer a presentation, open to the public, 6:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in TU's Chisholm Auditorium.
The event is sponsored by TU's School of Criminal Justice and Social Sciences. Quigley is a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow and a former Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand.
