As we approach a presidential election, there is much to consider. Declaring a party doesn't matter to me - voting for the best candidate does.
This year, first and foremost, I will vote for the candidate who believes in protecting human life. God will not bless or protect a country or world that does not.
For those who don't think Mitt Romney is the best candidate, consider this:
We know what religion he is, that he won't bow down to foreign powers or practice fiscal irresponsibility.
He will show us his birth certificate, college transcripts and law degree.
Romney is wealthy - but as one of our country's most successful businessmen, he has the background and ability to turn our country's economy in a better direction.
Also consider this:
In turning things around for the state of Massachusetts, he took no salary for four years when governor.
In 2011, he gave 19 percent of his income to charity - Obama gave 1 percent.
Do your own research, and don't be brainwashed by the lies of the commercials. The Republicans plan wants to save Medicare. Under Obamacare, if you're more than 70 years old and need significant medical care, it will be presented to a review board. You might get approval for the treatment you need - before your demise. Wake up - Obamacare is the beginning of efforts to turn our country into a socialist society.
In reinforcing D.F. Heimrick's letter dated Aug. 15: "Vote for the American."
