County reports
Jonathan H. Griffin, 51, of Bellevue, was charged with open container Tuesday. He also was cited with driving under suspension, intoxicated with a weapon and a parking on a highway violation.
A man reported Tuesday evening a rental property in the 6000 block of North CR 31 had been broken into.
A caller from Shell Shuckers, 1927 S. SR 53, reported Tuesday night a group of kids sprayed pepper spray inside the restaurant.
A caller from Flat Rock Care Center, 7353 N. CR 29, reported Tuesday night a person in a vehicle was huffing something and was slouched in the seat. The person was issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of abusing harmful intoxicants.

Logan S. Chilcote, 21, of Fostoria, was charged with assault Tuesday.
A newspaper box in the 200 block of West Center Street was reported to have been vandalized Tuesday afternoon.
A caller from Kroger, 126 W. High St., reported Tuesday evening a customer left without paying for groceries.
A caller from Fostoria Community Hospital reported a rape Tuesday night. A call placed to Fostoria Police Chief John McGuire for further information was not returned Wednesday evening.
A 300-block Elm Street woman reported Wednesday morning her house had been broken into and an air conditioner was taken.
A 300-block West Tiffin Street woman reported Wednesday morning more than $1,000 was stolen from her purse earlier in the day. A woman was arrested and part of the money was recovered, according to the report.
A 400-block West Lytle Street caller reported Wednesday afternoon a vehicle was broken into last week.
State Patrol
Hector Caudillo, 18, of Fremont, was cited with operating a vehicle without reasonable control following a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on CR 38. He was transported to Mercy Tiffin Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries, a State Highway Patrol spokeswoman said.
