CRESTLINE - Buckeye Central hammered 21 aces and had only five bad serves Tuesday in a 25-8, 25-8, 25-11 North Central Conference win over Crestline.
Maddie Williams and Sammi Marcum each smacked seven aces and 10 kills for the Buckettes (4-2, 2-0 NCC). Williams also had five digs and Marcum added three.
Kilee Kimmel backed them with 15 assists and five aces, Brooke Karl came up with eight digs and Kendra Schultz drilled four kills.
Tigers pound back Danbury
LAKESIDE - Rachel Bauman served 10 aces Tuesday to fuel Seneca East's 25-9, 25-6, 25-9 win over Danbury.
Bauman added seven assists and three kills for the Tigers (2-4) and Kristin Bowerman had seven assists and four kills.
Ashton Daniel chipped in five aces and three kills, Cameil Ruffing slammed five kills and Emily Depinet smacked three kills and three aces.
TC still winless in league
Willard beat Northern Ohio League foe Columbian 25-14, 25-15, 25-16 Tuesday, dropping the Tornadoes to 1-4 overall and 0-3 in the league.
Tessa Fuhrer paced TC with eight assists and Sidney Frank belted four kills and three blocks.
Graboski, Holly lead Rams
UPPER SANDUSKY - Taylor Graboski hammered 12 kills and Jenna Holly nearly had a double-double Tuesday as Upper Sandusky defeated Lucas 25-12, 25-10, 25-16 in North Central Conference play.
Holly came up with 15 digs and served eight aces for the Rams (2-1, 2-0 NCC).
Allison Snyder backed her with 23 assists and seven digs, Ceidyer Niederkohr tallied eight digs, Kalene Johnson served three aces and Jessi Holly and Molly Owens both smacked six kills.
