SHELBY - Columbian swept Shelby to move to 6-1 overall and stay unbeaten in Northern Ohio League play.
In singles action, Kelly Bishop topped Ashley Stahl 7-5, 6-1; Kelsey Drown beat Katie Boor 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 and Sarah Guzowski blanked Chloe Yetzer 6-0, 6-0.
Columbian's top doubles team of Allie Elchert and Ashley Niedermier beat Sam Wiggins and Natasha Grilley 6-4, 7-6. Audrey Vrancken and Rachel Gates teamed to beat Katie Welch and Allison Naugle 6-2, 3-6, 6-2.
Ontario slips past Rams
ONTARIO - Upper Sandusky coach Angie Miller called it "absolutely the best match we've played all season," however, the Rams were edged by Ontario 3-2.
Upper Sandusky's Kilee Saylor picked up a win at No. 2 singles over Michelle Fabian, taking a third set tiebreaker and winning the match, 6-4, 3-6, 7-6.
The other win came in the top doubles match as Logan Pierson and Taylor Dilley teamed to beat Brittany Duffey and Emily Kinney, 6-1, 6-4.
In other singles matches, Ontario's Destiny Burdine beat Taylor Clark, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4 and Emily Kinney beat Jenny Ohler, 6-4, 6-1.
In doubles, Ontario's Kelsey Baker and Alivia Schnaees beat Megan Pasco and Nadia English 6-2, 6-0.
McCoy has lone FHS win
KENTON - Kendall McCoy picked up the lone victory for Fostoria in a 4-1 loss to Kenton. McCoy won her No. 2 singles match over Amanda Freshcom, 6-1, 6-2.
Kenton responded with singles wins from Danyel Heilman over Cori Garrett 6-4, 7-6 and Claire Oates over Alyssia Sandoval, 6-1, 6-1.
The Wildcats swept the doubles. Haley Jones and Kendra Todd bet Pernille Knudsen and Angelica Esquivel, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4. Breanna Alexander and Emily Marr beat Autumn Affolder and Lauren Risner, 6-0, 6-3.
