Mohawk dominates Woodmore

Sarah Parker shines as Warriors move to 2-0

SYCAMORE - Sarah Parker smashed 10 kills, added four digs and had three blocks as Mohawk swept Woodmore, 25-7, 25-11, 25-7.

The Warriors improved to 2-0.

Kasey Adelsperger had nine kills for Mohawk, while Clara Adelsperger had four kills and five digs.

Ashley Parker dished out 26 assists, while Lynsey Trusty had 10 digs and seven aces.

Calvert swept by McComb

Hannah Bundy set a McComb record with 37 digs, and the Panthers swept three close games from Calvert, 26-24, 28-26, 25-22.

Hailey Huffman had 11 kills and four blocks for the Panthers.

For Calvert, Kaleigh Hendrix smashed six kills while adding 25 assists and eight digs.

Haley Felter had five kills, four blocks and six kills for the Senecas, while Meridith Lucius had seven kills, two aces and 15 digs.

OF loses opener

CLYDE - Clyde swept Old Fort in the Stockaders' season opener, 25-7, 25-10, 25-10.

The Fliers improved to 1-1.

Kristin Bender paced the Stockaders with two kills, four blocks and an ace.

Carey takes care of Vanlue

VANLUE - Hannah Tong had 13 kills and seven blocks in the sweep against Vanlue, 25-9, 25-11, 25-17.

Carey improved to 2-0.

Shelby Seifert had seven kills for Carey, four aces, and three blocks. Sidney Wentling was 25 of 25 in serving, with eight aces and 21 assists. Makenzie Wentling had eight digs. Taylor Fletcher had six digs and one ace, while Logan Johnson contributed her three aces.

Redskins trip Mohawks

ARCADIA - Arcadia cruised against St. Wendelin, sweeping the Mohawks 25-12, 25-12, 25-13.

Colleen Fondessy had five kills to lead the Mohawks, while Allie Rutter had four.

Taylor Lucius had 12 digs for St. Wendelin.

The Mohawks fell to 0-1.
