Tiffin reports

A person was at the station Friday afternoon to report a GPS had been taken from a vehicle two weeks ago.

A caller reported Friday afternoon someone broke into the railroad depot in the first block of N. Monroe.

A 100-block E. Market St. caller reported suspicious activity Friday afternoon.

An 800-block Miami St. caller reported Friday afternoon a person had threatened him.

A gasoline drive-off was reported Friday evening at The Pit Stop, 210 N. Washington St.

A caller in the 100 block of E. Market St. reported Friday evening seeing two men shooting some type of gun at a tree.

A 600-block S. Sandusky St. caller reported Friday evening someone had thrown a rock at her child.

A woman was at the station Friday evening to report items were missing from her home.

A caller reported Friday night that "no parking" signs were down in the 500 block of E. Market St.

Dennis Marks, 20, of Tiffin, was charged Friday with a junk and trash complaint.

Problems with a neighbor were reported Saturday morning in the first block of Beechwood.

A first-block Apple St. caller reported Saturday morning her friend stole her pain medication.

A caller reported Saturday morning that while people were cleaning a house in the 100 block of First Avenue, they found a handgun on top of a cabinet.

Jacob Kirkbride, 25, of Tiffin, was charged with disorderly conduct Saturday.

Fostoria reports

A caller from Fostoria Community Hospital, 501 Van Buren, reported Friday morning treating an assault victim.

Harassing text messages were reported Friday afternoon in the 100 block of E. Lytle.

An assault was reported Friday afternoon in the 900 block of Central Ave.

A 400-block E. Center St. caller reported Friday night a male had hit her and made marks.

A caller in the 1200 block of Peeler Dr. reported Saturday morning a vehicle was broken into and the battery taken.

A caller from Fostoria Scrap Yard, 636 Spruce St., reported Saturday morning the business had been broken into overnight.

Ronald Miller, 34, of Fostoria, was charged with non-support of dependents Aug. 25.

County reports

An attempted break-in was reported Friday afternoon in the first block of N. SR 4.

A caller in the first block of E. SR 18 reported Friday evening a 51-year-old female had been kicked in the chest.

A caller in the 8000 block of E. TR 163 reported Friday night someone was trying to break into her house. Deputies were unable to locate anyone.

A caller reported Friday night several subjects were possibly tampering with construction equipment at the site of the new Hopewell-Loudon School building. No one was located.

An assault was reported early Saturday morning in the 8000 block of N. TR 1166.

Multiple breaking and entering reports involving vehicles were reported Saturday morning. Locations included three addresses in the 9000 block of E. TR 124 and two addresses in the 2000 block of N. CR 27.

Tiffin accidents

A caller reported Friday afternoon a van hit her vehicle in the 100 block of Elmer and didn't stop at the scene.

A non-injury accident was reported Friday afternoon in the 200 block of E. Market St.

An accident occurred Friday afternoon at Miami and Nelson streets. Two citations were issued.

Fostoria accidents

An car struck a garage Friday evening in the 700 block of Columbus Ave., causing structural damage.

An accident was reported Saturday morning at North Countyline Street and Union Court.

State Patrol

William Ginnever, 24, of Fostoria, was cited with operating without reasonable control after an accident Friday evening on CR 65 in Jackson Township. Ginnever was travelling northbound on CR 65 when he went off the left side of the road and struck a ditch, said a state highway patrol spokesperson. Ginnever did not claim any injuries, and was not transported, she said.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters responded to 28 Northwood Friday afternoon for a carbon monoxide incident.

Firefighters were called to 60 N. SR 101 Friday afternoon for an incident.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters responded to an open burning complaint Friday evening in the 400 block of E. South St. A fire was not located.

Firefighters responded to 704 N. Vine Saturday morning for a report of excessive smoke coming from a chimney. They found the resident burning trash in the fireplace.

Firefighters responded to a car accident Saturday morning at North Countyline Street and Union Court.

County fire

Kansas firefighters responded to an accident Friday evening on CR 65.

Clinton firefighters responded to a tree stump fire Friday evening on N. SR 101.
