She was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law, Jim Cool.

Sharon was an administrative assistant at St. Wendelin Parish for the past 21 years, and former assistant athletics director at St. Wendelin. She was a 1973 graduate of Columbian High School and attended Tiffin University, and was a member of St. Wendelin Church in Fostoria, the Fostoria Bunco Babes and Fostoria K of C Ladies Auxiliary.

Sharon loved sports, the Detroit Tigers, the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dale Earnhart and the Michigan Wolverines. She loved the lake, especially Marblehead. She and Mike spent their honeymoon at Bay Point. She also enjoyed her trips to Florida and Las Vegas with her friends, Betsy and Deb. She enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, pedicures and spending time with her family and friends. Sharon always supported Lisa, Maria and Mike in their sports endeavors; she was the best head football coach's wife of all time. She will be most remembered for her strong love of her family and her one-of-a-kind laugh.

A Mass of resurrection will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Wendelin Church in Fostoria, where the rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. Friends may call 1-6 p.m. Sunday, with a Christian wake service at 5:45 p.m., at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, 301 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donors to consider gifts in Sharon's memory to be made to the St. Wendelin Elementary Scholarship Fund in honor of Lisa and Maria.
