Sandusky County
Sandusky County Park District's log cabins are to be open 1-5 p.m. during the Sandusky County Restorers of Antique Power show Sept. 1-2 at White Star Park, Gibsonburg.
Walk the trails from the main entrance parking, 925 S. Main St., Gibsonburg, to access cabins or enter the SCRAP show by car on CR 60.
"Canoe with Eagles" is planned Sept. 3, 5, 7, 10, 12 and 14. Participants should meet at 4 p.m. at the park office, 1970 Countryside Place, Fremont, then travel to launch site.
Canoes are provided to travel along Green Creek, a prime eagle-watching area. Registration with a partner at least 12 years old is required by calling (419) 334-4495.
Hancock County
Hancock Park District is offering an open house 1:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday at its 1847 McKinnis House that focuses on the history behind the property.
Learn about the behind-the-scenes happenings that take place when transforming the once-deteriorating home to what it is today.

Crawford County
A rare pallasite meteorite discovered in Crawford County is to be on display at 1 p.m. Sept. 8 at Lowe Volk Park Nature Center, 2401 SR 598, Crestline.
In addition, there is to be a lecture on meteorites.
At 8 p.m., members of the Richland Astronomical Society are to lead a monthly astronomy program.
