Morris Eric Lint, 62, passed away Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at Cleveland Clinic.
He was born Aug. 13, 1949, in Latrobe, Pa., to Roy and Suzanne (Girerd) Lint. He married the love of his life, Carole D. Cihonski Dec. 22, 1973, at Heinz Chapel, Pittsburgh, Pa., and she survives in Tiffin.
Also surviving are three daughters, Carrie (Adam) Vukich of Annandale, Va., Shannon (Eric) Garrison of Dallas, Texas, and Morgan (Tommy) Lehnhardt of Matthews, N.C.; one son, Eric Lint of Haleiwa, Hawaii; two grandchildren Madeline and Matilda Vukich of Annandale, Va.; eight siblings, Michael Lint, Audree Lint, Annie (Don) Horvath, Elizabeth (Jack) Petrilla, Bernadette (Steve) Pavis and Paul Lint all of Windber, Pa., Nancy (Fred) Hawn of Fairfax, Va., and Larry (Linda) Lint of Ephrata, Pa.; sister-in-law, Danna (John) Johnson of Patton, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerome.
Morris was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin. He graduated from The University of Pittsburgh in 1972 with a degree in electrical engineering. At the time of his death, he was employed by Tower Automotive, Bluffton, as a controls engineer. He had also been employed as an engineer for National Machinery for almost 30 years.
Morris enjoyed working in his basement workshop and was active with the Boy Scouts with his son Eric, participating in numerous camping and hiking trips. He participated in the High Adventure Boy Scout Camp, Philmont, N.M., where the troop had a strenuous hiking itinerary and went white water rafting down the Youghiogheny River. He liked visiting amusement parks and traveling with his family and had been looking forward to visiting Eric in Hawaii. He was especially proud of all his children and their various accomplishments in life.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17, 2012, at Meek-Dallavalle Funeral Home, 1312 Graham Ave., Windber, Pa.
His funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 605 Graham Ave., Windber, Pa., with burial following at St. John's Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church hall.
A memorial mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 36 Melmore St., Tiffin, with a luncheon following at the St. Joseph Activity Center Upper Room.
