Shirley Ann Wilkie, 75, of Tiffin, passed away at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
Shirley was born Oct. 8, 1936, in Donham, Ky., to Steve and Esther (Perry) Evanoff.
Shirley is survived by her son, Eugene Wilkie of Bellevue, Neb.; daughter, Kellie Cox of Marshfield, Mo.; four grandchildren; and four sisters, Marge Christiansen of Mountain Home, Ark., Nancy Doolittle of Norfolk, Neb., and Loretta Wagner and Estella Vassalle, both of Tiffin.
Shirley worked as a recording secretary for the Board of Hearing and Appeals for the federal government. She was also a graduate of Woodstock High School, Woodstock, Ill. Shirley was a United States Air Force veteran.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Steve Jr., George and William Evanoff; and three sisters, Nellie Kelly, Betty Moninger and Mary Collen.
Her funeral will be at a later date. Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting the family with their arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
