Amanda Fredritz and Jared Thiel, both of Upper Sandusky, have announced their engagement and approaching Sept. 8, 2012, wedding at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church, Carey.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Edward and Dolores (Hursey) Fredritz of Carey and graduated in 2008 from Carey High School. She is a state-tested nursing assistant at Fairhaven and Excel Urgent Care and is attending Marion Technical College for nursing.
Her fiance is the son of Dan and Carolyn Thiel of Upper Sandusky. He graduated in 2009 from Upper Sandusky High School and works for Thiel Excavating and Drainage.
