Sara Jean Banks and Joseph Russum, both of Denver, are announcing their engagement and upcoming Aug. 11, 2012, wedding in Breckenridge, Colo.
Sara is the the daughter of Carolyn Runion of Tiffin. She is a 2002 graduate of Columbian High School and a 2007 graduate of The University of Colorado. She is a youth advocate at Denver Family Crisis Center and is pursuing a master's degree at The University of Denver.
Joseph is the son of Douglas Russum of Kingsport, Tenn., and Linnea Jelinek of Livingston, Mont. He is a 2007 graduate of The University of Colorado and is commissioned as a second lieutenent in the U.S. Air Force. He is a futures trader for Rowan Financial.
