Tiffin-Seneca United Way - Do something to help your community and have fun at the same time! Volunteer to help local organizations and individuals with projects such as answering phones, cleaning, yard work, toy maintenance and others. Come as family, group, or on your own. CASA of Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties - Abused, neglected and dependent children need dedicated adults to be their court appointed advocate and speak for their best interests. Must love children, have common sense, good communication skills and be persistent. These children need a credible voice in court. Training is provided. Contact Becky or Jane at (419) 448-1442.
Community Hospice Care - We are looking for volunteers to provide the following services: running errands, fundraising, friendly visits, beautician services and acting as a Watchman Representative. Volunteer at the Community Hospice office. Call (419) 447-4040 to register.
Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce - The chamber offers a warm, positive professional business environment. Many areas of opportunity available based on interest - stuff envelopes, answer phones, process reports, follow legislative issues, write for newspaper and magazines, and website management.Ideal for a part-time or retired professional. Seneca County Habitat for Humanity - Seneca Habitat is in need of dedicated volunteers who are able to help at the Third Avenue build site. Build days are Saturdays starting at 9 a.m., meeting at Third Avenue near Wall Street, with lunch provided. For more information, contact (419) 447-4270.
