GOLF: Matt Kraut leads the Clover Club Wednesday
League at Clinton Heights with 15 points. Chris DeAmicic,
Barth King and Dan Roessner are tied for second one
point off the pace. Jason Hoffbauer had the low gross with
a 38 while Kraut had low net with a 29. Prize holes went
to Mike Hitchcock (long putt No. 5), Mike Grothaus (closest
to the pin No. 8), Hoffbauer (long drive No. 6), David
Sendelbach (closest in two No. 2) and Greg Fretz (closest
in two No. 7).
In the Baumann Old Fort Ex-Hi League, Todd Hull and
Doug Hoerig lead the second-third with 54 points. Prize
holes were won by Adam Smith (closest in 2, No. 1), Ernie
Hersh (longest putt No. 6) and Hull (closest to the pin No.
7).
Nate Hartman and Mike Porter lead the final third of the
men?s Catholic League at Seneca Hills with 80 points.
Bud Witsman shot low gross with a 34 and tied Chad
Dunlap for low net with a 31. The previous week?s low
round winners were Hartman with a 37 for low gross and
Mike Reamer with a 28 for low net.
VOLLEYBALL: The fourth annual Eric Rohrbach Memorial
volleyball alumni game will be held 6 p.m. Wednesday
in the Columbian gymnasium. The game will match the
Columbian varsity team against Columbian alumni. Donations
accepted at the door. There is no entry fee. All proceeds
will go to the Eric Rohrbach Memorial Scholarship
Fund.
BOWLING: The Alley Cats will hold an organizational
meeting Aug. 21 at 7 p.m. New teams are welcome.
PUNT, PASS & KICK: Tiffin Park & Recreation and the
Tiffin Browns Backers will host the free Punt, Pass & Kick
Competition Aug. 27 at 12:30 p.m. at Frost-Kalnow Stadium
The five age groups, as of Dec. 31, 2012, are 6-7, 8-
9, 10-11, 12-13 and 14-15. Boys and girls will compete
separately. Registration forms are available at
www.tiffinparks.com. Winners advance to the sectional.

The Big Dawg Youth Football Classic is a youth football
scrimmage for 4-6 grade teams who would like to participate
in a 6-team scrimmage Aug. 25 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at
the indoor turf field at Tiffin University. There will be food
