An argument about property was reported Tuesday night in the 1500 block of North Countyline Street. One person was charged with assault.
A man went to the station Wednesday morning to turn in checks he found. The checks had been stolen and the owner requested police dispose of them.
A woman went to the station Wednesday afternoon to report her wallet was stolen.
A 200-block McDougal Street woman reported Wednesday afternoon someone stole her cat.
Tiffin fire
* Firefighters were called to 45 Grace St. Tuesday afternoon for a brush fire.
* Firefighters were called to Speedway, 243 N. Sandusky St., Wednesday evening for a vehicle fire. A spokesman from Tiffin Fire and Rescue said the engine compartment of an older truck had caught on fire at the fuel pumps. The fire, which was quickly contained, did not spread. He said the truck was a total loss.

Old Fort firefighters were called to SR 592 Tuesday night for the report of smoke in the area.
