Donna J. Birch, 80, of Fostoria, died at 11:20 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
Donna was born July 3, 1932, in Tiffin, to Walter R. and Mary H. (Pittenger) Foncannon. She married the love of her life, Howard E. Birch, June 30, 1951, in Angola, Ind., and he preceded her in death Dec. 7, 1988.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Denise (Lester) Barber of New Washington; her son, Denny (Coni) Birch of Tiffin; five grandchildren, Brian Barber, Jessie and Jeremiah Bare and Matt and Nikki Birch; two great-grandchildren, Garret and Gavin Bare; two loving sisters-in-law, Eileen Shumaker of Tiffin and her coffee buddy, Clona Foncannon; and two special nephews, Dugan (Cy) Foncannon and Mike Foncannon, both of Fostoria.

Donna retired from Heck's Department Store, Tiffin.
Donna also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Walter Foncannon Jr.
There will be no funeral or visitation at this time. Donna will be buried at Fairmont Cemetery with her husband. Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, Tiffin is assisting the family with their arrangements.
