Many residents in Bettsville are elderly and have lived here all their lives.
They now live with constant fear. Break-ins are common. Thefts of anything that can be scrapped are constant. Now, loud car stereos are being used as a constant harassment.
The police and the mayor have been made aware of these problems, but nothing has been done about it. Most people are afraid to complain because they fear retaliation by this group.
One follows the officer on duty and lets the others know where the officer is so the others can see how loud they can blast their stereos in another part of town.
It's too bad the people of Bettsville have to live with constant fear. Many people are leaving the village to get away from all this.
