I agree with the letter titled "Wake up call." We need to step it up as Christians. We need to put God in our jobs, in our local government, in our schools, in our relationships, in our families, in all aspects of our lives, not just on Sundays.
When is the last time we lost a job, a friendship, a family relationship because of Jesus Christ? We need to stop being lukewarm and start playing offense with our faith. The foundation of creation needs to be in our schools. We are allowing secular humanism to lay the foundation of our next generation in the public schools.
Separation of church and state was meant to keep government out of religion, not God out of government. Do our commissioners, city council, mayor pray before their meetings? We need to stop worrying about offending people in the name of Jesus.
