Cleta Hopple, 25, of Tiffin, died at 8:26 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at her residence, after her struggles with ALS.
Cleta was born Nov. 21, 1986, in Fremont, to her father, Doug (Robin) Culver of Findlay and mother, Betty Hopple of Tiffin.
Cleta is survived by five brothers, Tory (Gabriela) Hopple of Texas, Rodney (Justine) Culver, Adam Wertz and Matthew Wertz, all of Tiffin, and Wayne (Jayme) Culver of Cleveland; a sister, Casey (Anthony) Weeks of West Virginia; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Cleta was a 2005 graduate of Seneca East High School and attended Brown Mackie College, Findlay. Cleta was an Elvis fan, enjoyed karaoke, her animals, dancing and spending time with her family.
Cleta was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cletus and Winona Hopple; paternal grandparents, Ray and Wanda Culver; and a brother, Christopher Culver.
A memorial service for Cleta will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at New Beginnings Assembly of God, Tiffin, with the Rev. Rex King officiating. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Thursday at the church.
There will be no burial at this time. Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, 135 N. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-1221, is assisting the family with arrangements.
