Seneca County Sheriff's Office is investigating the report of a rape early Monday morning on TR 18.
Det. Kevin Reinbolt of the sheriff's office said the rape, reported by Tiffin Mercy Hospital just before 1:30 a.m., had reportedly occurred at a residence on TR 18. He said the alleged rapist was an acquaintance of the victim, a 15-year-old girl.
He said an adult male and three juveniles had been hanging out and drinking earlier in the day before the alleged rape occurred.
Reinbolt said the incident remains under investigation and no arrests have been made yet.
