Marilyn DeBusman, 89, of Fort Myers, Fla., and formerly of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday morning, Aug. 1, 2012, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo.
Oct. 7, 1922, in Tiffin, she was born to Berlin and Helen (Smith) Miller. She married William Joseph DeBusman July 31, 1942, in North Baltimore.
Survivors include two sons, W. Michael (Phyllis) DeBusman of Tiffin and James B. (Marie) DeBusman of Detroit; two daughters, Debra (Joe) Hess of Tiffin and Amy (Larry) Diaz of Punta Gorda, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Michelle, Jim, Brad, Ryan, Stephany, Brooks and Anthony; and two great-grandchildren, Brooke and Parker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William, in 1996; and two grandsons, William Douglas DeBusman in 1969 and Britten Hess in 1993.
Marilyn was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, its Women's Association, and a former member of Mohawk Country Club, Penthouse Club and the Buckeye Club in Fort Myers. Marilyn wintered in Florida for years with her husband and moved there in 1996 after he passed away. She enjoyed bridge, golf, flowers, gardening and social events with friends.
A private service was held for the family and burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery.
