BASCOM - Hopewell Township Trustees reviewed newly revised zoning codes as presented by Jane Tomaszewski during the regular meeting Monday evening.
Resolutions were approved regarding the Hopewell Township and Seneca County road program, accepting the estimates, county project appointments for Commissioner Ben Nutter as CEO and Auditor Julie Adkins as manager, the cooperative agreement and certification of funds of $15,488.27 for the township share toward the TR 102 improvements.
Dick Freeborn and Troy Breidenbach reported on Meadowbrook Park campgrounds and pool. Bob Benner provided updates on zoning matters.
An activity day is planned 1-11 p.m. Saturday at the Evergreen Building by campers and Friends of Meadowbrook Park with a corn hole tournament, kid's games, potluck dinner, candy bar bingo and the band Rude Mood. All proceeds go toward pool renovation.
The bidding process is to begin for the Meadowbrook Park farm 3-year lease of 58 acres. More information is to be made available in future meetings.
In other matters the board approved payment of bills.
Trustees are to meet at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 13.
