Commissioners clear up financial matters

In new business, the Seneca County commissioners approved:

A supplemental appropriation of $3,520.02 from the General Fund to the Board of Elections as a stipend for poll workers.

An appropriation adjustment of $3,900 within the General Fund, per request of Seneca County Common Pleas Court.

An appropriation adjustment of $5,000 within the Maintenance and Repair Fund to use for reinforced steel.

Grouping several small appropriations within the General Fund, totalling $33,252.07, into uninsured expenses.

An appropriation adjustment of $5,000 for professional services.

An appropriation adjustment of $1,200 for expenses for the Soil and Water Conservation District.

A supplemental appropriation of $200,000 for the Public Assistance Fund.

A supplemental appropriation of $49,501.99 for salaries, Medicare and Public Employees Retirement System.

An appropriation adjustment of $800 within the General Fund for travel expenses.

An appropriation adjustment within the Neighborhood Stabilization Program.

An authorization for the commissioners to enter into contract with M&B Asphalt for pavement resurfacing of CR 3, CR 12, CR 29 and CR 38.

An agreement approving commissioners enter into an agreement with the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Seneca, Sandusky and Wyandot Counties on behalf of Seneca County Juvenile Court.

An agreement with CrosNet Northcoast Jobs Connection website on behalf of Seneca County Job and Family Services.

Hiring two maintenance workers for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program through JFS.
