July 31, 2012
By Lydia Stuckey - Correspondent , The Advertiser-Tribune

CAREY - Carey School soon will have a new auditorium roof in place. Board members met in a special meeting Monday and approved repairs for the storm-damaged roof.

The roof, measuring 66 feet by 95 feet, will be replaced by J. B. & Co. Roofing of Tiffin at a cost of $43,970.

Superintendent Mark Vehre said the cost of the project would be covered by insurance, except a $1,000 deductible.

He said crews will begin work as soon as possible with hopes to finish before school begins.
