A 20-year-old Republic man arrested Thursday in connection to a May burglary had his bond set at $40,000 during a video appearance Friday in Tiffin Municipal Court.

Nathan S. Barney, who was charged with aggravated burglary, a second-degree felony, in connection to a May burglary in Seneca County, was arrested after law enforcement conducted a search warrant at his North TR 43 residence.

There, items of evidence related to burglaries, along with illicit prescription drugs and drug paraphernalia, were found.

Law enforcement believes Barney may be connected to other burglaries in Seneca County and in North Baltimore.

A preliminary hearing has not been set for Barney yet in Tiffin Municipal Court.
