Patricia A. Craun

Patricia A. Craun of Burgoon died Saturday, July 21, 2012, and was buried Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at Smith Cemetery Burgoon.

Patricia was born March 5, 1935, in Detroit. She grew up on a farm in Tiffin. She married Arden D. Craun March 22, 1952.

After living in Texas for four years while her husband was in the U.S. Air Force, the couple moved to Burgoon, where she resided for the last 56 years.

Pat and Arden had six children during their 59-year marriage. Pat loved her husband, her children, her many cats over the years, and her dogs, especially Panda. She enjoyed experimenting with food recipes, and growing plants and flowers.

She was preceded in death by parents, John and Vlasta Janovich; a daughter, Carolyn Craun; a grandson, Craig Bates; and her husband, Arden.

Mourning her passing are children, James Craun of Gaithersburg, Md., Connie Craun of Powell, Chris Halvorson of Boulder, Colo., Cheryl Kosmatatos of Cumming, Ga., and Cathy Craun of Findlay; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mary Lou Bonham of Cookeville, Tenn., Betty Depinet and Donna Sexton, both of Tiffin; and a brother, Robert Janovich of Tiffin.

Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Wyandot County in Upper Sandusky.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Herman-Kinn-Veh Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Gibsonburg.
