Thomas H. Zellner

Thomas H. Zellner, 78, of Weaverville, N.C., and former Tiffin resident, died Sunday, July 15, 2012, at J F Keever Jr. Solace Center, Asheville, N.C.

He was born June 28, 1934, in Bloomville, to Frank B. and Mabel (Barrett) Zellner.

Survivors include two daughters, Suzette Fronk of Maumee and Lisa (John) Boff of Weaverville, N.C.; a brother, James Zellner of Tiffin; seven grandchildren, Chelsea (Tate) Scott, Tyler (Melissa) Fronk, Caleb and Michelle Fronk and Alexandria, Christina and Dakotah Boff; two great-grandchildren, Natalee Cruz and Everett Fronk; and his beloved pet Sheltie, Angel.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Twila Holtz; and four brothers, Robert, Gerald, Howard and Paul Zellner.

He was a 1952 graduate of Bloomville High School and a U.S. Navy veteran. Thomas worked as a meter repairman at Ohio Power, Tiffin, for 40 years, retiring in 2000.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Lindsey-Olds Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR 19, Bloomville, with Pastor Darla Metz officiating. Burial will follow at Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin.

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry, Asheville, N.C., which provides for the critical needs and emergency assistance of area residents in Asheville and Buncombe County.
