Group asks donations

July 17, 2012
The Advertiser-Tribune

The Salvation Army in Tiffn and Seneca County has issued a plea for donations to maintain the services it provides.

The agency needs to raise $2,780 to finish out its fiscal year, according to Capt. P.B. Stetzer. Because of a slow economy and job market, the Salvation Army is serving many first-time recipients with emergency assistance, he said.

Food donations and gift cards also are appreciated. They can be dropped off at 505 E. Market St. or mailed to the Salvation Army at P.O. Box 341, Tiffin.
