Kathleen Distel and Matthew Izenson exchanged wedding vows at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at Wildwood Golf Club in Allison Park, Pa. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Judge Eugene B. Strassburger. A reception followed at Wildwood Golf Club.
Kathleen is the daughter of Ted and Dianna Distel of Tiffin.
Matthew is the son of David and Cathy Izenson of Pittsburgh.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a Mori Lee cafe-colored Duchess satin gown with a corset style lace-up back. Asymmetrical draping created the strapless crossover bodice and fitted waistline accented with a crystal rhinestone belt. Swirls cascaded on one side from the skirt to the gathered bubble hemline, which flowed into a chapel-length train.
Angie Kiesel of Tiffin was her best friend's matron of honor. Jackie Distel and Rebecca Distel of Tiffin were their sister's maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Andrea Distel of Lakewood, cousin of the bride; Lindsey Distel of Tiffin, sister-in-law of the bride; and Christy Gutzwiller of Chandler, Ariz., friend of the bride. They wore purple taffeta floor-length dresses. The bodices featured a ruched empire waist accented with beading above the asymmetrically-draped skirt.
Brendan Aucoin of Oneonta, N.Y., and Tyler Hart of Findlay were their friend's best men. Groomsmen were Joe Sunseri of Orlando, Fla., uncle of the groom; and Ted Distel of Los Angeles, Brad Distel of Tiffin and Doug Distel of Los Angeles, brothers of the bride.
Kathleen is a 2002 graduate of Columbian High School and a 2007 graduate of Bowling Green State University. She is a graphic designer and advertising representative at The Cranberry Eagle in Cranberry Township, Pa.
Matthew is an accountant at Swartz, Izenson and Associates in Pittsburgh. He is a 2002 graduate of North Allegheny High School, a 2006 graduate of Bowling Green State University and a 2011 graduate of The University of Toledo.
The couple resides in Wexford, Pa.
