Gary and Priscilla Wadsworth celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party hosted by their children at Mon Ami Winery, Catawba Island. They also took a trip to St. Thomas Island, Virgin Islands.
They were married April 6, 1962, at EUB Church (now known as United Methodist Church, Republic) with the Rev. Landis officiating.
Gary is the son of Art and Alice Wadsworth. He retired as a welder after 40 years at Whirlpool Corp., Clyde.

Priscilla, the daughter of Lyle and Helen Drown, retired as a custodian after 25 years at Old Fort Schools. She also independently cleaned for 10 years.
They have three children, Kelly (David) Fryatt of Istanbul, Turkey, Greg (Lisa Bugbee) of Fremont and Tod (Holly) of Green Springs; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
