Ann Fuhrer Carter, 93, of Fostoria, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.
She was born July 19, 1918, in Mount Vernon, Ind., to Malcolm W. and Rose (Osborn) Fuhrer Sr. She married Dick Carter May 4, 1942, in Mount Vernon, Ind., and he preceded her in death Aug. 23, 2011.
Survivors include her son, Richard H. (Rick) Carter Jr. of Findlay; daughter, Cynthia (Cyndi) Taylor of Columbus; and a granddaughter.
She also was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Malcolm W. Fuhrer Jr.
Her memorial service is 11 a.m. Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Wesley United Methodist Church, Fostoria, with the Rev. Michael N. Malcosky officiating.may be made to Wesley Memorial Gallery or Wesley United Methodist Church, Fostoria.
Arrangements are being handled by Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, 301 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria.
