Veterans fair scheduled
St. Francis Senior Ministries is to host a veterans fair and pinning ceremony 9 a.m.-noon Wednesday at Elizabeth Schaefer Apartments, 190 St. Francis Ave. The pinning ceremony is at 10:30 a.m.
Highlights are to include exhibits on items to benefit veterans, health screenings, a memorabilia display and refreshments. Stein Hospice is to conduct the pinning ceremony. Veterans in attendance from all branches of the military are to be recognized.

Sweeten lunch with music
FOSTORIA - Melody Road is to perform noon-1 p.m. Wednesday for the Fostoria Community Arts Council's free "Lunch on the Lawn" series on the lawn at the Fostoria Municipal Building.
Farmers market to feature bikes
The July 14 Downtown Tiffin Farmers Market is to feature a motorcycle display and a kid's decorated bike contest, both on Court Street.
The bike events are at noon with the kids judging at 1 p.m. The adult bikes are on display until 4 p.m.
Chicken dinner to be served
The Allen Eiry Senior Center is to serve a barbecue chicken dinner at 4:30 p.m. July 19 at 28 Hopewell Ave., Tiffin. Granny's Backyard Bar-B-Que is catering the meal.
Tickets are $8.50 in advance and $9 at the door.
Program concerns getting around
CLYDE - The Clyde Museum is to host a family program 2-3 p.m. July 19 with a transportation theme. The program is to include everything from pony carts to Elmore cars and Clydesdale trucks, and from trails to rails. A craft activity is to be provided for children. A video on the Clydesdale Truck Co. of Clyde is to be available for viewing.
