Brian L. Stanley, 54, of Tiffin, died Sunday, July 8, 2012, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born Jan. 4, 1958, in Toledo, the son of James W. and Charlotte Jane (Goldsmith) Stanley. A 1976 graduate of Bedford High School, Brian had served as a Morman missionary in Ireland for two years. He was a former radio announcer for a Tiffin radio station for several years. Prior, he worked for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant. He was an avid reader, writer and enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Elks Lodge No. 94, Tiffin, where he also worked as secretary.
He is survived by his loving parents, James and Jane Stanley; two sisters, JoAnn (Jamie) Hauser and Christine (Dennis) Simmons; three brothers, Gregory, Kelley (Audrey) and Scott Stanley; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation and funeral services will be private.
