Larry O. White, 30, of Fremont, was charged with persistent disorderly conduct early Sunday morning. A 300-block Elm Avenue woman had reported a person went in the back door and hit her husband in the head with a baseball bat. She told police she did not know the man, but her husband may know him. A man later wanted someone to check his head.
A 100-block Union Street woman reported early Sunday morning she heard someone tapping on windows.

Robert A. McGrath, 63, of Fostoria, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident at North Countyline and West Center streets Tuesday afternoon.
An accident was reported in the 200 block of North Main Street early Sunday morning. The incident was under investigation.

Firefighters were called to a rail vehicle fire between Hall and Nelson streets Saturday night.
Fostoria fire
Firefighters were called to a downed power line at 147 E. Center St. Saturday evening. They found an electrical service wire to the house was severed in half with a live wire on the garage. They contacted American Electric Power and blocked off the alley.
County fire
Bettsville firefighters were called to a hot electric outlet on Emma Street Saturday evening.
Bascom firefighters were called to an engine fire on Nelson Street Saturday night.
Old Fort firefighters were called to a woods fire on CR 44 Saturday night.
