Warren Moellman

Warren M. Moellman, 92, died at his Fremont home early Saturday morning, July 7, 2012.

He was born in Gibsonburg on Aug. 2, 1919, to William E. and Freda (Myerholtz) Moellman.

After graduating from high school, he joined the Army, serving in WWII as a surgical technician at an evacuation hospital based in Burma. Later ,he worked as a carpenter and in maintenance at Kelsey Hayes in Kingsway. Mr. Moellman retired on Feb. 28, 1985. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and a former member of American Legion Fremont post.

On Jan. 17, 1948, he married Donna Bish at Salem Lutheran Church. She passed on Nov. 1, 2001.

Survivors are two children, Kristine Ernsberger of Fremont and Michelle Bender of Burgoon; four grandchildren, Eric and Aaron Ernsberger and Madison and Mackenzie Bender; and five great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one daughter, Evelyn Kennedy; and two siblings, Mildred Eisenhour and Marian Stokes.

His funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, at Herman-Kinn-Karlovetz Funeral Home & Cremation Services. The Rev. James Avers will officiate. Burial with military rites will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde.

Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. tuesday, July 10, at the funeral home.
