n The New Riegel Open will be Saturday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start at Nature Trails in Bettsville. The clubhouse will open at 7 a.m. for any golfer who wants breakfast. The cost is $45 a person, $180 a team. It includes two carts, steak dinner and door prizes. The outing is full. n The 2012 Next Level Individual Basketball Skills Camp for boys in grades 8-12 is July 25-27 at Bucyrus High. Sessions run 8-9:30 a.m. for post players, and 10-11:30 a.m. for perimeter players. n The deadline to enter the Mayes Community Temple Outdoor Basketball Hoops Classic is July 18. The entry fee is $175 per team, and only the first 20 teams will be accepted. The event occurs at the Martin Luther King Park in Marion on July 21-22. Prizes include first, second and third place team trophies, individual trophies, and MVP. VOLLEYBALL: Classes to become an OHSAA certified volleyball official begin on July 16 in Fostoria High's cafeteria at 6 p.m. Students must complete class time and on-court training totaling 25 hours.
