Russell D. Lykins, 83, of Willard, died Friday, July 6, 2012, at Hillside Acres Nursing Home in Willard.
He was born Oct. 21, 1928, in West Liberty, Ky., to Ben and Zettie (Oney) Lykins.
He is survived by two sons, Bobby (Patty) Lykins of Willard and Dwayne (Aleta) Lykins of Republic; two daughters, Jeri (Jim) Ault of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Kathy (Pete) Hayes of Plymouth; 10 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce Lykins; six sisters; and three brothers.
A funeral is at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 10, at the Secor Funeral Home in Willard, with the Rev. Velman Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Monday, July 9, at the funeral home.
