James B. Howell, 40, of Findlay, was charged with assault and public indecency Sunday night.

A 1000-block North Union Street woman reported Tuesday morning her son's home had been broken into, and items were missing. An investigation was pending.

A 100-block West Lytle Street resident requested to speak with an officer Tuesday afternoon about a stolen wood splitter. Charges were pending.

A man reported Tuesday afternoon he was going around Poplar and Main streets and swerved to avoid a child pushing a lawnmower, which caused damage to his vehicle.

A person went to the station Tuesday afternoon to report possible check fraud.

A 300-block West 4th Street woman reported Tuesday afternoon her daughter was hit by another girl.

An 800-block South Union Street man went to the station Wednesday afternoon and reported his cast iron stove was taken.

Tiffin accidents

Andrea R. Meyers, 24, of Republic, was cited with assured clear distance ahead after an accident at East Market and Elmwood streets Monday afternoon.

A citation of improper lane change was issued after a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at South Sandusky and West Market streets early Tuesday morning.

County accidents

Chad R. Snyder, 29, of Tiffin, was taken to Mercy Tiffin Hospital after an accident on TR 92 Sunday night.

A non-injury bicycle accident was reported Monday morning at Euclid and Hopewell avenues.

A car was in the ditch on East US 224 early Wednesday morning.

State Patrol

A one vehicle non-injury accident was reported Monday night on North CR 15.

Krista F. Ward, 16, of Tiffin, was cited with assured clear distance after an accident on North SR 53 Tuesday morning.

Fostoria accidents

Dennis A. Thomas, 42, of Findlay, was cited with a red light violation after an accident at West High and Perry streets June 25.

Fostoria Police Department received two 911 calls Monday afternoon about a possible pedestrian struck at South Union and West Lytle streets. An ambulance took a person to Fostoria Community Hospital.

A citation was issued after an accident involving a semi at West Center and North Countyline streets Tuesday afternoon. A man requested an ambulance.

A citation was issued after a non-injury accident in the 100 block of East Lytle Street Wednesday morning.

Tiffin fire

Firefighters were called to a cooking fire that was confined to a container at 349 Miami St., Building 1, Monday night.

Firefighters were called to 25 Virginia Ave. Monday night for an authorized controlled burn.

Fostoria fire

Firefighters were called to a motor vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to a possible brush fire on TR 47, south of SR 12, Wednesday morning. They found an unattended rubbish fire that was in Kansas Fire and Rescue's territory. They turned over the scene to the department.

County fire

Bascom firefighters were called to South TR 121 Monday evening for a trash/ditch fire.

Clinton firefighters were called to North CR 15 Monday night for an accident.
