Richard Joseph Graham, 75, of Tiffin, passed away Tuesday morning, July 3, 2012, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
He was born Nov. 20, 1936, in Bascom, to Leonard and Mary (Keefe) Graham. He married Carol Kerschner July 24, 1956, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; two sons, Michael (Amy) Graham and Dale Graham, both of Tiffin; five daughters, Mary (James) Ritchie of Middletown, Marlene (Chris) Radabaugh of Union Town, Debra (Carl) Jewell of Findlay, and Diann (Bill Franklin) Graham and Kathy Laudenslager, both of Tiffin; two sisters, Donna (Frank) Brose of Tiffin and Janice (Alan) Smith of Heath; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Mark Graham, in 2009; brother, George Graham Sr.; and infant granddaughter, Danielle Jewell, in 1990.
Richard attended Calvert High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He retired in 1998, after 20 years, from the maintenance department at Tiffin Developmental Center. He also worked for Feasel Builders for many years and was a lifelong carpenter. Richard collected antique tractors and enjoyed going to tractor and steam engine shows and flea markets. He enjoyed meeting his friends for breakfast at McDonald's. Richard also enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Joseph Szybka officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.
Friends may visit with the family 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian wake service will begin at 1:30 p.m.
