The Red Cross is continuing to accept donations for those in northwest Ohio affected by Friday's storm.
Hancock County Red Cross Executive Director Todd James said as power outages continue, the Red Cross is offering meals, a cooling center and mobile food units in Wyandot and Hancock counties.
"The continued power outage is the biggest problem," he said.
As of Monday afternoon, the Red Cross estimated 15,000 to 20,000 homes in the two counties were without power, James said.
"That's getting better all the time," he said. "They're getting the power back on."
James said the storm caused property damage because of wind and falling trees, but didn't cause a lot of major damage to residences.
"We haven't found a lot of properties with a lot of damage," he said. "There are not a large number of homes that are unlivable."
A $10 donation also can be made by texting redcross to 90999.
"That's what we need right now," James said.
