Mickey Day, 58, of Fostoria, died Friday, June 29, 2012, at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green.
He was born Dec. 23, 1953, in Augusta, Ky., to Eugene and Helen (Teegarden) Day. He married Sheryl Roelle in 1977, and they later divorced.
He is survived by three daughters, Gina Day of Arcadia, Theresa "Birdy" Day of Fostoria, and Carrie "Critter" Day of Bowling Green; five brothers, Ronald "Tommy," Donald, Wilbur "Peck" (Pat); and Rodney (Pam) Day, all of Fostoria, and Terry "Q-ball" (Donna) Day of Brooksville, Ky.; five sisters, Octa Roelle, Norma "Toots" Marshall, and Charlotte "Shorty" (Larry) Burkett, all of Fostoria, Gail Might of Kansas, and Jeanette Massey of Cincinnati; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Bobby, Jerry, Leslie and Larry Day; and a sister, Dorothy Day.
The funeral is 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 4, at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. Donald Goodwin officiating. Burial will be at Fountain Cemetery, Fostoria.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 3, and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
