Richard Louis Ricker, 83, of Clyde, died Thursday, June 28, 2012, at his home.
Mr. Ricker was born Feb. 24, 1929, in Ottoville, to Louis B. and Anna (Kemper) Ricker. He served in the U.S. Army following World War II.
He married Patricia Rogers July 16, 1949; they later divorced and she survives. He then married Marjoria Corbin Ricker Oct. 23, 1987, and she preceded him in death July 20, 1997. He then married Jeanette (Wott) Liebold Ricker Nov. 29, 2000, and she survives.
Also surviving are four children, Carolyn (Larry) Miller and Susan (Tom) McClanahan, both of Columbus, Steve (Amy) Ricker of Toledo and Kenneth (Patricia) Ricker of Perrysburg; five stepchildren, Dwayne (Renae') Corbin of Fairborn, Deb (Ken) Hossler of Bellevue, Robert (Tricia) Liebold of Clyde, Eric (Michelle) Liebold of Green Springs and Trent Liebold of Clyde; a sister, Mary Grothouse of Delphos; a brother, Harold Ricker of Tallahassee; 18 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings, Emma Fostor, Isadore Ricker, Alfred Ricker, Gilbert Ricker, Rita Steinbrenner, Marcus Ricker and Rose Mary Ricker.
Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St., Clyde.
His funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clyde. Military honors will be provided by the Clyde VFW and American Legion.
Memorials may be given to St. Mary's Catholic Church or Hospice of Memorial Hospital.
