Donald Fritz Sr., 82, of Bellevue, died Friday, June 29, 2012, at The Willows at Bellevue.
He was born Sept. 8, 1929, in Marywood, to Peter and Edith (Ruffing) Fritz. He married Amelia Phillips Sept. 11, 1954, at St. Sebastian Church, Bellevue, and she preceded him in death.
He is survived by a son, Donald (Pam) Fritz of Bellevue; six daughters, Janice (Larry) McCowan, Kathy Houlett, Gary Houlett, Carolyn Kocher, Mike Kocher and Amy (Scott) Moyer, all of Bellevue; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He also was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Terry Provenzale; and a sister, Catherine Steinmetz.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2012, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. The rosary will be recited at 1:30 p.m.
His funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Monday at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, 16209 E. CR 46, Bellevue. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Bellevue.
