Rose Mary Runion, 83, of Tiffin, died at 6:59 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 2012, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo.
She was born Aug. 20, 1928, to Gilbert and Jessie (Yeasley) Schirack. She married Gerald C. Runion June 18, 1949, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, and he
survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Deborah (Mike) Daniel of Tiffin; two sons, Gerald "Mike" (Kathy) Runion and Patrick Runion, both of Tiffin; nine grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; and a sister, Katie Kummerer of Tiffin.
Rose Mary was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, James Schirack and an infant brother; and a sister, Mary Agnes Flick.
Rose Mary was 1946 Columbian High School graduate. She retired from Tiffin Glass Co. as a glass sorter. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, its Rosary Altar Society, Daughters of Isabella, and a crossing guard at St. Mary Catholic School. She enjoyed bingo, casinos and traveling.
Visitation with family and friends will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2012, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-3113. A wake service will be at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Prayers will be said at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 30, at the funeral home followed by her funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, officiated by the Rev. Gary Walters. The rosary will be recited 20 minutes prior to the Mass at the church. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center or to a charity of the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
