Rex N. Davison, 63, of Tiffin, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
He was born March 6, 1949, in Cleveland, to Homer and Randi (Doblough) Davison.
Survivors include two brothers, Jim Davison of Bryan and Michael (Carla) Davison of Middlefield; a sister, Anita (Joe) James of Cuyahoga Falls; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army July 17, 1967, and served in Vietnam with Company D, 2nd Battalion (Airmobile), 12th Calvary. He received many citations including the Air Commendation Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with four Bronze Stars, Sharpshooter Badge with Rifle Bar, and Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross Unit Citation with Palm Device and many others.
His memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012, at Tiffin Masonic Lodge 77. Burial will follow at Fairmont Cemetery, Tiffin, with military honors conducted by the United Veterans Council.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, Shriner's Hospital or to Volunteers of America Autumnwood Care Center.
